Invite a Site View User

The User Console within the Publish platform is used to invite users to create a Pivvot Site Views account for use in the Map platform. The User Console can be used for external users (consultants, clients, etc.) whom you wish to provide Site View access. The User Console is also the place to set up current Pivvot users to get access to your Site Views.

If you do not have the Pivvot Site Views package, you do not need to use this site. If you are an Account Admin who wishes to add users to your Aware, Siting, or Route platform, please see instructions for Account: User Console.

 

To add / edit users to a site view they must first be invited. This includes all users - internal and external. 

To invite a new user:

  1. Open the User Console (left sidebar).
  2. At the top right; select the New User icon.
  3. If editing an already invited user, select the edit icon.
Setup:
  1. Type the users' email address into the "invite email" box.
  2. Click the Assign Site Views step. A user must be assigned to a site view when they are first invited.
  3. Locate the site view in the Available site views section. Drag/drop or select and use the arrows to move the site view to the Assigned site views section.
  4. Click Save, in the top right.

The invited user will receive an email with instructions to register.
