📍 Introducing Four New Data Layers
PFAS Greenhouse Gas -
EPA’s GHGRP collects GHG data from large emitting facilities (25,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) per year), and suppliers of fossil fuels and industrial gases that result in GHG emissions when used.
PFAS Spill -
Aggregation of spill information for the years 1990-2019 from NRC (downloaded August 5, 2020), restricted to data records associated with PFAS and PFAS-containing materials. The spreadsheets posted to the NRC website contain initial incident data that has not been validated or investigated by federal/state response agency.
PFAS Transfers Designated Facility -
Contains details about the facilities receiving RCRA Waste Manifests containing PFAS. The EPA looks at E-Manifest records which reflect the shipment details with cradle-to-grave tracking of wastes mandated by the RCRA, including federal and state waste codes as well as descriptive information in various text fields that describe the constituents of the waste shipments.
PFAS Transfers Generator -
Contains details about the facilities sending RCRA Waste Manifests containing PFAS. The EPA looks at E-Manifest records which reflect the shipment details with cradle-to-grave tracking of wastes mandated by the RCRA, including federal and state waste codes as well as descriptive information in various text fields that describe the constituents of the waste shipments.
