Create a new report
- Open the Report Console within Publish.
- At the top right; select the New Report icon.
- Proceed to the Setup tab.
- Click the Save button at the top right.
Edit an existing report
- Open the Report Console within Publish.
- Search and locate the report in the list.
- Right-click the report > Edit Report OR select the report > select the Edit Report icon at the top right.
- Proceed to the Setup tab.
- Click the Save button at the top right.
Report Setup
The Setup step declares the dataset used to define the report's content and the naming convention for the report.
- Choose a Dataset.
- The selected dataset name will autofill the System Name.
- Enter a Display Name. This will create the Report Title.
- Optionally, enter a Report Summary. This is a text field where you can add a summary description of the report.
- Click the Save button at the top right.
- Add the report to a Site View, then verify it is displayed correctly in Pivvot. Additional information on adding a report to site view can be found at Add a Report to a Site View.
The Display name is the user friendly report name visible in Pivvot Report.
