Create A Layer

To create a new layer

1. Select the Layer Console icon on the left sidebar.
2. At the top right; select the New Layer icon.
3. Proceed to the Setup section below.

To edit a layer

1. Select the Layer Console icon on the left sidebar.
2. Locate the layer in the list.
3. Right-click the layer > Edit Layer OR click on the layer > select Edit Layer icon at the top right.
4. Proceed to desired task.
   • Edit display name
   • Edit filter
   • Edit style
   • Edit label

 Setup

1. Choose a Parent Dataset.
2. Enter a unique System Name.
3. Enter or edit a Display Name.
4. Click the Save button at the top right.
5. Optionally proceed to Configure a layer filter, Style a Layer or Configure Map Labels step.

The Display name is the user friendly layer name visible in Pivvot Map's Layers flyout.
