Background Display
Map views are a standard Google Maps feature. They allow users to switch between map and imagery view.
Learn more about Google's Satellite and Map views.
- At the bottom left, click the Map/Satellite toggle.
- Choose Map or Satellite.
- Optional - If viewing Map click Terrain.
- Optional - If viewing Satellite click Labels.
45 Degree Imagery
This feature allows you to view the map imagery as if you were flying in a helicopter. This imagery is not available across the entire US. The coverage is determined by Google.
To view 45-Degree imagery:
- Turn on Satellite imagery.
- At the top right, click the Map/Satellite drop down.
- Choose Satellite.
- Zoom to desired location. Continue zooming in until the 45 degree imagery button

- Click 45 degree imagery button.
- Click the Rotate button to rotate imagery.
